From Surviving to Thriving

The Transformation Center Presents, Blacks United in Recovery (BUR) Statewide Affinity Group Forum:
“From Surviving to Thriving”

A day long interactive workshop event for those who identify as Black or African American & can relate to emotional health, addictions or trauma issues.

Date: Monday Nov 21, 2016

9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

(Green Line, Arlington T Stop or pay $36.to park for the day)

-lunch, snacks & a “quiet pause room” will be available

-feel free to bring:

-your own notebook for journaling
-a photo or other item to place on the Libation Table in
remembrance of a person who struggle(s)/(ed) with emotional issues, or something in honor of someone helpful in your own recovery, or if you like you can simply say or write down the name of someone you would like to remember, acknowledge or honor. These special items can be related to the Past, Present or Future.

-Finally, please attend this event without wearing scented products, especially strong scents such as perfume or cologne, for the safety of those who are allergic to them.
